I was hoping to review Love…Quilting today, but because I was a bit off-colour over the weekend, I’ve not been in a fit state to stretch my analytical skills… so I thought I’d share a few pics of some crochet I’ve been doing. By the way, if you’re interested in buying a copy of Love…Crochet, which I reviewed last week, the publishers have a 50% off sale on craft books at the moment. There are bargains to be had..
Anyway, here’s the results of my recent crochet jag..
Wrist cuff, with hand-embroidered button. First go at doing a button like this – it’s SUCH fun to do… The cuff is made with my free pattern, previously published here.
Cashmere tweed pouch, with a Rennie MacIntosh style button (bought a couple of years ago from Carol’s Crafts). This is an improvised pattern, which as usual, I failed to write down…
Another wrist cuff using my pattern, this time with a little bit of a tweak so that I could use 2 of these cute bubble buttons from Ray Stitch.
